Agile

Agile describes values and principles for developing software through collaboration, frequent delivery, and learning from change. It is not a rule that teams should stop planning or documenting their work.

What Changes in Practice?

Work is divided into small outcomes that can be reviewed. Feedback from working software informs the next plan, rather than waiting until the entire product is finished to discover whether it meets the user’s needs.
For example, demonstrate one complete booking path and ask users to try it. Use what they find to decide the next improvement, while retaining the technical and business constraints the service must satisfy.

Common Misunderstandings

•
More meetings do not automatically make a team Agile.
•
Welcoming change does not mean every request has the same priority.
•
Working software still needs tests, maintainable design, and useful documentation.
Scrum is one framework associated with Agile. Agile itself does not prescribe one mandatory meeting schedule or tool.
